Lake Fork, Texas

Paris, Texas angler Steve Story caught the fish of a lifetime on Lake Fork on 02/24/2019 on a 3/8 oz. Finch Nasty Bait Co. Glade Blade™. Steve was fishing with his father on a sunny Sunday afternoon when the giant 13.1# bass bit the weedless vibrating jig that he had just recently purchased.  On Sunday evening, Steve contacted Finch Nasty Bait Co. Manager Alex Finch to share the news about the catch of a lifetime.

On Monday, FNBC Manager Alex Finch had this to say about the call, "I got a call yesterday evening from a customer that was elated to have just caught a fish of a lifetime. I couldn't be happier for anyone today than I am for him.  This is two years in a row that one of our bladed jigs has helped an angler catch a 13# fish on Lake Fork.  I hear a lot of reports about people having success with my baits, and I can tell you THAT brings me great joy in my life."

The story below was shared by Mr. Story on Tuesday, 02/26/2019:

"Here was A trip of a Lifetime. My dad has fished the Lake since it first opened. He carried me every time he could. I bought my 1st Skeeter in 5/1992. I’ve been extremely Blessed fishing tournament on Lake Fork. I’ve Won 3 boats to this day Fishing Tournaments. Yesterday was a lifetime memory Me and Dad will never forget.

Water temp was 50 when we started. Sun has been out for the past two days. Prime time to go. Boats were everywhere on Fork on a Sunday ( as usual) we just let them fish and fell in behind them. Then we got in to 53 water temp in a spot I caught a Over last year.
